has been approved by the Alabama Department of Postsecondary Education and the Alabama Commission on Higher Education to offer the Culinary Arts / Hospitality Servies associate of arts degree starting this fall semester. In addition to the culinary arts associate degree, persons can obtain certificates in culinary arts or hospitality management.

The Department of Defense sponsors a Science and Engineering Program (SEAP) and the College Apprentice Program (CAP)
to provide invaluable experience and exposure to the world of scientific research. Students are assigned to a participating laboratory to pursue scientific experiences with a scientist or engineer who serves as a mentor for a high school apprentice for 8-10 weeks, and 10-12 weeks for college students.
